Michelle Obama to be joined by Winfrey, Letterman, DeGeneres as Moderators for her upcoming “The Light We Carry” Book Tour

Michelle Obama doesn’t need any introduction. The author, lawyer, and former first lady is hitting the road this fall to promote her upcoming book The Light We Carry: Overcoming in Uncertain Times, and each event has a start-studded lineup of moderators. Oprah Winfrey, David Letterman, and Ellen DeGeneres are among the top stars that are going to give appearances as moderators on the tour across the country.

Other stars that will be speaking as moderators include Gayle King, Elizabeth Alexander, Tyler Perry, Hoda Hotb, Conan O’Brien, Heather McGhee, Tracee Ellis Ross, and Michele Norris.

It will be the second book by the former first lady after her bestselling memoir “Becoming.” In her upcoming book, she shares that when we “light up” the lives of people around us, the world starts illuminating us with richness and potential. Moreover, in its 336 pages book, she narrates a series of stories and also reflects insights of change, challenge, and power.

“This book is a collection of stories and practices that have helped me sort through all the challenges and questions that keep us up at night: How do I know I’m good enough? How do I bring my whole self to the table? How can I overcome my fears?” Obama raises some questions in her book announcement Instagram post.
